We Built
the Company We Wanted to Call

Ridgeline is run by three Idaho Falls natives, Nick McIntier, Bridger Harris, and Ashton Quinton, born and raised right here. We started it for a plain reason: too many of us came up inside bigger shops and got tired of watching customers get talked into work they didn’t need. This is the honest option we wanted to build, staffed by named, licensed people you’ll actually meet, not a rotating cast of strangers.

A Family-Owned HVAC Company in Idaho Falls

Nick McIntier was born and raised in Jefferson County and went to school in Rigby. He started in HVAC at 17, right out of high school, spent years learning the trade under a handful of employers, married his wife Britnee, finished the four-year apprenticeship, and passed the Idaho contractor’s exam in 2021. Ridgeline has been going strong since.

The thread that runs through the whole company is the same one Nick started with. He and several of the senior techs came up inside bigger outfits and got tired of watching people get taken advantage of. Ridgeline exists to be the company that doesn’t do that: the best equipment and training in the area, honest technicians, fair pricing, and family values that aren’t just a line on a wall.

Why we started This

Rooted in Idaho Falls History

We work out of a building with real local history. It was the old Snow Rider shop, the first Arctic Cat dealer in the area, and Bridger’s great-grandfather ran it decades ago. The family didn’t even know that when they bought the company and moved in. Bridger’s grandmother recognized the building afterward, and some of the original signage is still up in the attic.

We take pride in keeping it community-owned and rooted here, and the showroom we built inside it carries that forward as a space for the town, not just a storefront.

Meet the Owners of Ridgeline

Three owners,
Three Strengths

Nick McIntier, Owner

Born and raised in Jefferson County, in HVAC since 17 and a licensed contractor
since 2021. Our metal-fabrication specialist and the one who runs client and contractor relationships. Customers say he treats them like his own family, and if there’s a way to
get it done, he finds it.

Bridger Harris, Owner

Idaho Falls native and the most technical of the three. He turns blueprints, schematics,
and wiring diagrams into installed systems, and he runs the front-end customer
experience. He sets a high bar for the crew and lives for the feedback that makes the
work better.

Ashton Quinton, Owner and Project Manager

Idaho Falls native who runs the day-to-day. He’s in the field most days keeping schedules
on track, timelines honest, and the company’s standards delivered on every job, and he handles inventory and the fleet on top of it.

Meet the Ridgeline Team

Our service techs are Comfort Advisors, and our install crew are Installers. Here’s who they are, because you should know who’s coming to your home before they knock.

The People Who Show UP
at Your Door

Hunter Kolbet

Lead Comfort Advisor

Idaho Falls native with 12 years in the trade. Came from bigger shops and left to work somewhere that matched his morals. Customers describe him as knowledgeable, thorough, and quick to the point.

Mike Scanlan

Comfort Advisor

A change-out specialist with
about six years leading jobs. Extremely thorough, takes real pride in solving complicated problems, and loves a challenge nobody else wants.

Anthony "AJ" Ayala

Installer

Three years on rough-in and new construction, and an easy-going team player with a contagious smile. A family man who’s genuinely good to have in your home.

Anthony Utterbeck

Installer

Idaho Falls native with about
four years on change-outs and new construction. Meticulous on your comfort system, a straight shooter who does careful work and keeps the job moving.

Paxton Anderson

Installer

Idaho Falls native, husband, and father of two. Efficient, reliable, and the kind of installer who leads from the front and treats your home like his own.

Our Credentials and Certifications

We’re a licensed, bonded, and insured HVAC contractor, Idaho HVAC license 050089. Our installers are factory-certified on the brands we carry, Amana, Daikin, Day & Night, and Goodman, and we’re the area’s certified Aeroseal dealer. Most of our competitors won’t even put a license number on their site. We lead with ours.

Every one of our promises traces back to something real: the unconditional first year on our installs, the rebate paperwork we handle for you, the plastic we lay down before we work, and the free second opinion when someone else says replace. We’d rather earn the job honestly than win it with a line we can’t back up.
